Banbury Mixer: Precision Mixing Solutions for Every Industry
For over 15 years CFine has manufactured banbury mixers and has made over 32 special machines for different mixing requirements, from the mixing of laboratory samples R&D to the preparation of large quantities for heavy industrial production. Our mixers are well able for the mixing, kneading and distributing ordinary materials such as rubber, EVA, synthetic rubber, hot melt adhesive, ceramic and metal powder. Uniformity in our products is procured that leads to better goods and efficiency of production. We have a registered ISO 9001, CE certification, 32 patents relating to our products (including 2 international patent applications) and are the suppliers of such firm names as BYD, Samsung, Sinopec, Tsinghua University, etc.
Our Banbury Mixer Series: Designed for Your Needs
Four main lines of mixers are available with specific production scale and composition requirements as follows:
1. Lab & Small-Batch Mixers (1L–15L)
Ideal for R&D, training and for small batch proofing, these small mixers (CF-1L, CF-3L, CF-5L, CF-10L, CF-15L) have adjustable rotor speeds (8 – 70 r/min.) and an accurate control of the mixing temperature (ambient temperature 250° C.). The discharging of the material by gravitation is of the type where the material can be easily collected. The mixing chambers are mirror-polished which eliminates sticking.
2. Industrial Mid-Scale Mixers (25L–75L)
These mixers (CF-25L, CF-35L, CF-55L, CF-75L) are constructed for small steady production with mid-scale volumes. The mixers show a combination of strength and other efficiencies. The mixing chambers are of high carbon steel treated with 72 hours vacuum nitriding and hard chrome plating which makes the interior of the mixing chambers resistant to wear and tear, corrosion and material adhering to the interior walls of the mixing chamber. The “W” shaped chambers also give no dead angles for mixing. The rotors are water-cooled giving a uniform dispersion. The auto pressure control by means of a cylinder gives greater rates of productivity.
3. Large-Scale Continuous Mixers (110L–165LXS)
These machines (CF-110L, CF-150L, CF-165LXS) are continuous fats or large output mixers for continuous high volume production. The CF-165LXS the twin rotor mixer with banbury and extrusion gives all types of advantages of continuous mixer feeding to discharging (2000 kg./hr.) (for PE + 50% CaCO3). These have frequency controlled screws (75 rpm max.) with a steady current so that there is no peak energy spikes which shows an energy savings in excess of 80 %. These mixers were especially suited for the production of masterbatches, carbon black masterbatch, flame-retardant masterbatches and cable materials.
4. Specialized Material Mixers (Metal/Ceramic)
We manufacture wear-resistant metal powder kneaders and ceramic mixers from imported alloy materials so as to be able to resist corrosion from acids, alkalines and salts. Our mixers are produced with hydraulic opening of mixing chambers and rotors which can easily be dismantled and cleaned as is so essential when changing from one metal powder or ceramic compositions to another, and are extensively used in the manufacture of electronic materials and in the aerospace industries.
What Makes Our Banbury Mixers Stand Out
-
Long Life Time: Rotors and chambers of our mixers are quenched treated, vacuum nitrided and hard chrome plated, to give longevity to the parts of about 50% more than that of other mixers.
-
Accurate Operation: The intricate design of the tube-belted chambers and water cooled rotors gives a temperature constancy up to ±2℃, so that there is no tendency for materials to stick to the chamber walls and there will be a consistency in the physical results produced.
-
No-leakage and Quiet Operation: There are mechanical seals to the shafts of our mixers and self lubricated rings, so that no leakages of powder occur, thus restricting noise from whistles and preventing contamination of powder.
-
Smart Automation: Appropriate programming of the PLC equipment and automatic weighing control make a cut of about 50% in labor costs and the system from manual to automatic is easy to understand and operate by all people concerned.
-
Environmentally Friendly: The use of through-type heaters (which are 50% more efficient than normal heaters and use no residue) with the equipment and the products, are manufactured in accordance with world-stated standards of non-polluting.
